“My personal focus on integrating natural medicine into my Western practitioner training has proven me to be a unique healer. I became an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner by completing a two year Masters Degree program after I had completed a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree.” ~ Julie Anderson, ARNP
One of the reasons I can be helpful to you is that I have been there myself. My health issues were not responding to western medicine, so I stopped working in western medicine in 1998 and took a position at the Bolles Natural Medicine Clinic in Bellevue, WA where I worked and learned alongside a Naturopathic physician. In 1999, I opened my own practice in Seattle, WA. I have always been driven by curiosity and much of my knowledge has been self-initiated. Some of my favorite training has come from Andrew Cutler PhD, Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, Dr. Denis Wilson, The American Academy of Chelation, and the Nutritional Therapy Association.
I graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa . I continued my career by working as a Registered Nurse for 7 years before pursuing my Master’s in Nursing degree from the University of Washington. Upon completion of my Master’s in 1991, I took a position as Nurse Practitioner in geriatrics/internal medicine at Group Health Cooperative before beginning my private practice in 1999.
I work to optimize your body’s basic function of digestion and hormone balance while taking a slow and steady approach to detoxing your body of heavy metals and fat soluble toxins like pesticides. The initial discussion of your health is very thorough to enable me to give my best protocol for your health. I have a wide range of experience, having helped everyone from autistic toddlers to 100 year olds with macular degeneration.
